MARDİN (DİHA) – 38 NGOs in Mardin have prepared a common declaration about Kurdish problem. It is said in the declaration that the reality of that the military operations are not unfruitful to solve Kurdish problem became clear.

Only military operations are not capable to resolve the Kurdish question is the fact clearly understood after long lasted conflicts said declaration prepared commonly by 38 NGOs. It is also said in the declaration that new constitution need to be prepared.

Fallowing PKK’s extension of non-conflict term 38 NGOs Mardin Branches including DTP, İHD and CHP, explained their evaluation about Kurdish problem by a press release in İHD Mardin Branch. A common declaration has been read by signers in the meeting. NGO

What was said in the common declaration is as fallows;

Conflicts, wars and violation threat human being future and cost people right of living which is basic right. Inclination of solving Kurdish problem by practicing army operations is unfruitful idea, as every body realized. Violation also injures feeling of trust and friendship between people which might be permanent and increase the tension we are already in. Discussions about Kurdish problem are important. Our hope is that these discussions might be turned into a non-conflict atmosphere.

All kinds of groups and people should put effort for peace since every body has long lasted expectation for peace.

In connection with this idea we got together as 38 NGOs in Mardin and signed common declaration. We said in the declaration that; New constitution, which is free from exclusive discrimination and based on equality of all citizens as well as guarantee of freedom and political identification, needs to be constructed. And also urgent peace to erase the trace of bad influence of the state of emergency, to uncover unidentified killings cases, to lift the village guard system and create a program for democratic participation without hurt common conscience.
