NEWSCENTRE (DIHA) –May Day Celebrations was widespread in Egean and Çukurova Region as well as in Ankara. Thousands demonstrators from cities and regions such as Aegean and Çukurova Region and Adana, Mersin, Ankara, İzmir, Aydın, Muğla, Manisa, Hatay, Didim celebrated May Day while 500 thousands were celebrating in Taksim Square.
Adana, Mersin, Ankara, İzmir, Aydın, Muğla, Manisa, Hatay and Didim district of Izmir was all demonstration area for May Day as well as other cities and regions.
Confederations of Trade Unions, NGOs, human, women, children and prisoner rights organizations and parties such as BDP, ODP, ESP, BSP,SDP, EDP And EMEP’s branch organizations were the organizer of May Day in the mentioned cities as well as in Istanbul and Ankara. There was no significant incident during the celebrations in the cities and thousands warned AKP. Laborers asked job, democracy, freedom and peace from AKP.
