SERÊKANİYÊ (DİHA)
- While the fighters of YPG/YPJ are resuming their operations in some villages of Serêkaniyê against the gangs of ISIS, Kurds, Arabs, Chechens, Syriacs and Êzidi peoples live together in these territories.

The biggest allies of YPG forces are the peoples residing in the region. After liberations of the villages, the peoples have begun to return to their villages. The peoples in Serêkaniyê are fighting shoulder to shoulder with YPG forces against ISIS gangs who are committing crimes against humanity. The peoples came together and esablished joint brigades. One of the most attractive brigades is "Martyr Mıhemed Trezan" military brigade which has been formed from Chechens, Kurds and Arabs.

'We are taking strength from the historical resistance in Kobanê'

The Chechens, Kurds and Arabs military fighting brigade in Tolan, Ömeyir and Nuh villages, which have been liberated by YPG and YPJ fighters 12 days ago, is conducting operation against ISIS. Martyr Mıhemed Trezan Military Brigade Commander and Chechen citizen Xalit Çaviş said: "YPG forces affected us fairly positively. The most fundamental instance of this is in Kobanê. We are fighting also for our brothers and sisters in Kobanê. We, as YPG, are defending our lands and protecting our peoples. We are taking strength from the historical resistance in Kobanê."

'To leave the defense of these lands to only Kurds is wrong'

Chechen Commander Çaviş added that they are residing with Kurds for years and underlined: "There is no difference among us. We wanted to aid our Kurdish brothers. We are fighting together for our lands and honour. To leave the defense of these lands to only Kurds is wrong. It is duty of everybody to cleanse these lands from the gangs of ISIS. We learnt Islam from Kurds here years ago. Gangs of ISIS devastated our homes and occuppied our lands. How could we support them. So, we are fighting shoulder to shoulder against ISIS."
