'Confidentiality order' on investigation of Ümit Kurt's murder
ŞIRNAK (DİHA) - Cizre Public Prosecution Office has brought "confidentiality order" on the investigation of murder of 14-years-old Ümit Kurt who has been massacred by Turkish police.
Turkish police units entered the Cudi neighborhood in Cizre district of Şırnak on 6 January at the evening hours after the municipality enabled the closure of the ditches dug by demonstrators on streets to hinder the arbitrary move of security forces during the most recent incidents in the district. Police shot at people in the neighbourhood and massacred 14-years-old Ümit Kurt.
While the perpetrators have not been explained, Cizre Public Prosecution Office has brought "confidentiality order" on the investigation of murder of 14-years-old Ümit Kurt. The front autopsy report of Cizre State Hospital has not been shared with anyone in relation with this order of confidentiality.
Meanwhile, Şırnak Lawyer's Association (Baro) and Human Rights Association (İHD) members will have prepare a report after analysing the spot of incident.
